Five sister brands, one room, and plenty of ideas and experience to go around. Sales teams from OPC Pest Services, Western Pest Services, Waltham Pest Services, A-Action Pest Control, and American Pest Control recently came together for a collaborative training focused on building confidence, sharpening skills, and creating an even better experience for their customers.
The training brought together newer sales representatives and team members looking for a refresh about our offerings, a deeper dive into attic insulation and crawl space encapsulation, and closing skills. It was a chance for teams from different regions to swap ideas, compare approaches, and learn from the years of experience each brand brings to the table. That kind of cross-brand teamwork is a true example of being essential together.
This was not an all-day sit-and-listen session at all. No. Nearly a full day was dedicated to role-playing with reps breaking into small groups, practicing real-life sales scenarios, and rotating between tables with different leaders. The goal was simple: make the conversations feel more natural, build confidence, and help reps better understand their customers’ needs. A hands-on approach like this helps our teams be remarkable by delivering a more knowledgeable, helpful, and consistent experience for the communities we help.
“The teams were very engaged and excited throughout the training,” said Adam Granito, Division Residential Sales Manager. “They were connecting during breaks, lunch, and dinner, and it was great to see people from different brands learning from one another. Overall, it was a huge success.”
When sister brands come together to learn, share, and support one another, the impact goes far beyond the training room. It leads to stronger teams, better customer conversations, and a heroic impact in the communities we serve. And at the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about.
