A Grateful Customer – OPC Helps Preserve Taco Tuesday!

The team at OPC Pest Services takes their commercial customers very seriously. They know the best way to take care of them is to create a true partnership with them and to keep in mind that the services they provide are essential to their health, safety, and peace of mind. The team knows all this. But, to hear they hit the mark still never gets old.

Recently, Enzo Lihard, Director of Operations & SQF Practitioner at Mija Tortilla Factory was so impressed with his technician, Moriah Covington, he took the time to send us a note to formally express his appreciation for the support she provided during a recent Safe Quality Food (SQF) audit they had. Mr. Lihard was clear how the contributions of Moriah and the team at OPC led to the strong outcome they had with this audit, noting, “achieving a strong audit outcome results from a fully integrated food safety system in which both internal operations and external partners play critical roles. OPC has consistently demonstrated reliability, responsiveness, and a clear understanding of the operational and sanitation needs required in a food manufacturing environment.”

At food processing plants – whether they are processing tortillas or any other food – strong supplier partnerships are not optional. They are a fundamental component of a robust food safety culture. Mr. Lihard made sure to let his account executive, Jonathan Shane, know that “OPC has proven to be a trusted partner in this regard, and we value the professionalism and commitment your team brings to our operation.” The team at OPC always aims for excellence, consistently going above and beyond for homeowners and business owners alike. According to Mr. Lihard, the “team’s ability to deliver consistent service aligned with our GMP standards and sanitation programs” and even “contributed directly to maintaining process control and ensuring audit readiness.” The pride Moriah and the entire OPC team takes in their work and the remarkable level of service they provide means, to the Mija Tortilla Factory, they are “essential in supporting compliance with SQF Food Safety and Quality Code requirements.” For a food processing plant, that’s the utmost importance and we’re so proud Moriah is part of it.

Jonathan wasn’t surprised to get this letter, though. When asked about Moriah he said, “Moriah is a great technician but an even better person. From my first ride along with her, I could tell she had a keen ability to meet her clients where they were at and build report with them. I have no doubt these abilities aided her strongly in establishing a great service for Mija tortilla.” And Mr. Lihard agreed! He ended his letter with, “At Mija, we recognize that strong supplier partnerships are not optional; they are a fundamental component of a robust food safety culture. We look forward to continuing and strengthening our collaboration as we advance in our certification journey and operational growth.” Well, he can be sure he has the best partners backing him up and supporting him every step of the way. Great job, Moriah – and great job to the entire OPC team that are consistently remarkable. You make us proud every day.
